With 2019 rapidly approaching we’re excited to see the new color and decorating trends as they come in. While there are certain hues that are perfect regardless of season, there are other color combinations that can have a decidedly modern feel. As we begin to see the changes in color scheme, we’re excited to test out some of these gorgeous new rugs in modern colorscapes that the Kaleen Zocalo Collection has introduced.
Orange and Gray
In this pattern, we see a mix of burnt orange, pale yellows, and a warm-toned grey that have a decidedly modern feel. Orange and yellow are both colors used to express warmth, and they can help fuel the appetite, making this the perfect statement piece for a dining room.
Mint and Yellow
With this blend of mint and yellow Kaleen Zocalo is playing towards the millennial color palette. In the last two years, mint and light teals have become huge color trends for younger generations which can help this feel very modern. However, this color palette may not remain as fresh looking as others because of its trendy nature. If you’re loving this color palette, it may be best for a room that gets frequent use such as a living room.
Navy and Gray
Is there anything more classic than this color combination? Much like black and white, navy and gray have a level of contrast that lets both colors shine without the starkness of a purely black and white pattern. Both colors are known for their calming and productivity-inducing attributes making them perfect for home offices and bedrooms.
Chocolate and Teal
In this colorscape, Kaleen Zocalo plays off of the harmony of these natural hues. Browns, teals, and orange combine trendy colors with a classic combination that we believe will be an instant classic. With the touch of orange, this rug is a perfect fit for almost any room from dining to living.
Silver and Gold
In this last selection, the collection takes a luxurious turn. Silver, tan, gold, and a pale green create a look of sumptuousness that can’t be beaten. Because of the light color spectrum, we don’t recommend this look for rooms that get a lot of wear, but it would make the perfect addition to an office, sitting room, or bedroom.
